Prices are in cents per kilowatt-hours, and should be compared to JCP&L "Price to Compare" explained in the left “Messages” column of your JCP&L bill. This "Price to Compare" is fixed in winter, and computed for each customer in summer, based upon actual electrical usage.

1. According to page 2 of the constellation.com electric contract, the NJ Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) currently requires NJ to purchase RECs equivalent to 22% of total NJ electrical consumption. (The RPS increases yearly, to 50% in 2030). Hence, a NJ subscriber, to ANY 3rd party renewable supplier, would currently have 122% of annual electricity usage offset by RECs.
