Prices are in cents per kilowatt-hours, and should be compared to JCP&L "Price to Compare" explained in the left “Messages” column of your JCP&L bill. This "Price to Compare" is computed for each customer, based upon actual electrical usage.
JCP&L "Price to Compare" is 9.6520 cents/kwh, "winter" 10/1/2021 to 5/31/2022;
Prices of all vendors are currently high. Lowest cost strategy: select Verde Energy 12 month contract (9.19 cents/kwh after $100 rebate for new customer using 8,000 kwh/year). At the end of the 1 year contract, look for available NJ "Community Solar". If community Solar is NOT available, then check this list for the lowest 30 month contract at that time (refresh your browser to view the current file).
